Why Now?

Today’s generation is constantly looking for a community, a sense of belonging and love.  Turn on the news any given night, any city in the U.S. and you will no doubt find a troubling story about our teenagers.  Beauty and Love’s goal is to give every teen a sense of belonging, teach positive values, pride and self-worth.  Beauty and Love would like to change the way you see our youths today.  They are whole, perfect and complete.  They just need someone to nurture them and show them that they are beautiful and pure love.

“Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, fabulous, gorgeous, talented? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.”
--Marianne Williamson

“Never talk defeat. Use words like hope, belief, faith, victory.”

“Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe.”
--Mark Victor Hansen

Teen Books is exactly what it sounds like…
“One of the goals each month is to inspire you to read --- and to keep reading. We have found that required reading lists for school --- especially summer reading lists --- are not exactly inspiring. Thus we have created what we think is the Ultimate Teen Reading List --- more than 250 titles that we think are perfect choices for reading and discussing.” Quoted from the Teen Reads Website.
